A must have: Pepper Spray!

We're living in a time wherein we're not safe anymore even at our own houses.
A lot of things have happened that reached the news/media lately. Left and right news about rapes, murders, and holdups. The classic kidnapping technique is back! A bunch of guys in a van will suddenly force you to go inside their vehicle, and there, they will do all the kind of things that will violate your rights as human, damn these bad guys. After a lot of news about rapes and kidnappings, Mom decided to buy me a pepper spray online through the help of Globe's text advertisement.

Pepper spray, also known as OC spray (from "oleoresin capsicum"), OC gas, and capsicum spray, is a lachrymatory agent (a chemical compound that irritates the eyes to cause tears, pain, and temporary blindness) used in policing, riot control, crowd control, and personal self-defense, including defense against dogs and bears. Its inflammatory effects cause the eyes to close, taking away vision. Source

Got this Lippie style pepper spray from Popshop for P299! It's available in different colors :)

Be safe, ladies! :)

Review: Shawill's single blusher

How's everyone doing? I'm back in makeup blogging, thanks to my new found friend, Rochelle, the makeup lover in me has been awaken again!! I finally found someone who loves makeup as much as I do :-)

Rochelle and I went to SM San Lazaro for a slight window shopping of makeups one night after school and due to the lack of time, I've decided to buy Shawill's blusher without reading reviews about it.

This is in shade number 04, vogue noble. Got this for P138

The superfine particle without color block, natural charm color, velvet grain type even bestow on face. Improve the skin color, newly build pink complexion, beautify the face outline and overflow natural charming cheek!

To be honest, I'm quite disappointed with the product because as you can see, it's not that pigmented and you can barely see the effect of the blush or maybe it's because of what it claims to be "natural" looks. I love the softness of the brush though, and it smells nice too :)
The pictures are all mine.

My verdict: 2.5/5
Will I purchase another one? Definitely no, my P138 is not worth it. I'm looking for something that last longer, matte, is pigmented and has that natural look yet gives me the satisfaction.

Birthday blog post!!

Hi guys! It's my 19th birthday today, August 28!! Been busy because of school stuff that's why I haven't had the chance to blog. God, I've missed this blog and I've missed makeups that's why while on my way home, I bought some makeups from SM San Lazaro.
This are the things that I'll be reviewing on my next blog posts

1. Nyx's soft matte lip cream in 12 Buenos (though I think there has been a mistake since the shade in the internet is way too far from mine.) I think I've been faked :( bought this baby online :(

2. Shawill's single blusher in shade no. 04

We'll see how this products will turn out =)

Avon hauls

Avon is once again, on sale! Since one of our workers is an Avon lady, it has been to pleasure to order makeups without stepping a foot outside (especially in this season where in you can cook eggs through the heat of the sun, ugh) Anyways, before I proceed, I just want to say sorry for the LQ pictures. I need to get my phone upgraded, really.
Let's start first with Avon's 5pc brush set. I got this for only 99 pesos!! From P399 to P99 :) Got myself a great deal here.

The brushes are quite stiff and to be honest, not that good for a product that used to cost P399.

After the brushes, let's see what the Glimmersticks can offer :)

This one is in Starlight blue shade. I love how long this lasts and it's easiness to use. Just twist and swipe :) You can see the swatch below. It's glittery color is just enough for the eyes. I got this one for P99 for a regular price of P250!!

So this will be it :)
My verdict: 3/5 for brushes
                    4/5 for the glimmersticks

See you next time! :)

Review: Bench Paintbox's soft shine lipstick

One of the things I love the most are the lipsticks! I'm always excited to buy new ones and try on new shades. So I was quite eager to find out the my lipstick from Avon's almost gone. I went to the mall to actually buy a lipstick from Wet n Wild but their stall's gone..idk where to find to it so I went to my second choice which was Paintbox.

This is my second time to use Bench's makeup line, the first one was the blusher and it turns out to be fine and I'm still using it :)

I'm a big fan of pink lippies so I bought this Juicy Pink shade. I was about to buy the other one but sadly, they ran out of stocks :( No regrets in this shade, though.

The back of the box. Err, I forgot to check the date of manufacturing, I should have bought the fresher product.

I really, really love the shade. It matches my nail polish, Glaze Flare from Chic. It suits me well :)

Sorry for the LQ swatch hihi.

My overall verdict: 4.5/5
It dries out the lips, sometimes create patches and not that long lasting.

Review: Essence's multi action mascara

Since my latest mascara (Maybelline's Rocket) was lost due to my carelessness, I bought another one. Since I've been hearing a lot of good reviews about Essence cosmetics so I went directly to their stall located in the Department store. I found this multi action mascara.

Mascara for extremely black lashes -- with carbon black. Gives extra volume, length and curl! Ophtalmologically approved.
I bought this for only P189. Affordable for a multi action mascara :) I love how it's easy to handle. It gives justice to what it claims to be. The only thing that I didn't like about this mascara is that it smudges easily (due to the temperature here in the Philippines, I think) which makes me look like a Panda after hours of applying. But it is good overall.

My verdict: 4/5
Will I repurchase? I don't think so but I think I'll try their other mascaras.
